Welcome to Year 3

Welcome to the Year 3 class page. I'm Miss B. and I am your class teacher. I’m really excited to be moving from the Infant Department (where I have taught Year 1 for 7 years) and back to the Junior Department (I taught Year 3 for 8 years before that!) and I can’t wait to be your teacher! This is such a special time as you take on new challenges and discover even more about what you can do, and I feel so lucky that I get to share that journey with you. We’re going to learn lots of new things together, have fun along the way, and celebrate all the brilliant ideas and talents you bring to our classroom. I’m also really looking forward to working with Mrs Swift, the Year 3 Teaching Assistant, – we’re going to make a great team, and I know we’ll have a fantastic year ahead with all of you.

In our class we follow our school values.  School values are an important part of helping children grow into kind, responsible, and confident individuals. They provide a clear guide for how to treat others, make good choices, and take pride in learning. By following school values, children learn to work well with others, show respect, and develop positive habits that last a lifetime. They help create a caring and safe school community where everyone feels valued, supported, and motivated to do their best.
