Welcome to  Year 1

We are a fantastic class of Year 1 children, who love learning, exploring and being together. Our teacher is Miss Guest and Mrs Beers is our wonderful teaching assistant. Mrs Melland also works in our classroom. On Tuesdays, Miss B takes our Forest School session and Sheree teaches us PE in the afternoons.

We work hard in Year 1 on phonics, English, Maths and all of our curriculum subjects but we also have time to Choose Our Own Learning (COOL time) where we can use the provision in the classroom to play and explore topics, skills and interests that we have. So far we have shown that we can be builders, architects, problem solvers and artists.
