As a school, we are trying to foster a love of reading in all children (and adults!).   With this in mind, we thought it would be great to introduce a new Reading Challenge.  This reading challenge  is stuck in your child's reading journal; the aim of this is to encourage children to read a variety of books - from a variety of eras, cultures, genres - to widen their reading experience and hopefully find a new author / genre that they love.  The challenge can be done in any order over the school year.  When the children have complete their reading challenge they will receive a Reading Challenge bookmark.
