In Year 3, our long-term overview is designed to give children a rich and varied learning experience across the whole curriculum. Throughout the year, the children will continue to strengthen their skills in English and maths, while also exploring a range of exciting topics in science, history, and geography. They will enjoy discovering new stories and texts, learning about different periods of history, investigating scientific questions, and finding out more about the world around them. Creative opportunities in art, music, and design technology will allow them to express their ideas in imaginative ways, while PE, computing, and PSHE will support their physical, digital, and personal development. Throughout the year, the children will also have the chance to take part in exciting trips and special events that link to their learning, helping to bring topics to life and create memorable experiences beyond the classroom.
