Assemblies play a huge role in Darley Dale Primary School's curriculum. Every day, we have a different assembly, planned to enrich and enhance our curriculum.

Miss Guest (KS1) and Mrs Kershaw (KS2) deliver assemblies about how to keep ourselves safe, how we should treat others and the values we should hold.

Mrs Sheldon (KS1) and Mrs Hooper (KS2) plan interesting assemblies about different cultures and the importance of diversity.

Miss B (KS1) and Mrs Gilder (KS2) teach us about a variety of inspirational and significant people, from explorers to artists.

Mrs Holmes (KS1) and Mrs Travis (KS2) teach us new songs, in singing assembly, this is one of our favourites and is fantastic for our mental health and wellbeing.

We finish our week, with a whole school Celebration Assembly with Miss Hudson where we find out who is a Star of the Week.
