Last pieces guys! A mammoth achievement by all. You are all superstars, parents included. Have a wonderful Summer!
Miss Hudson and Mrs Beers xx
Hi all, your final home learning timetable! Have a lovely last week before the six weeks holiday. Please stay in touch; I'm always logging into Class Dojo and my emails. We have a little something for the little people so I'll work out how best to get them to you this week and let you know. Lea Green negotiations are still happening; I will let you know when they have made a final decision. Finally, thank you so much for all your hard work and commitment with the home schooling. As a parent myself, I know how hard it can be to motivate and engage our children, especially when scary things are happening out there! Myself and Mrs. Beers have loved working with your delightful children and feel more than a little cheated that our time with them was cut short. They will have an amazing year next year with Mrs. Hooper and I know she will pack it full of exciting things to do and learn. Miss Hudson and Mrs. Beers xx
Home - School Heroes! (to be done at any point this week)
Think of some memories of Year 2 and also of your time learning from home and write down, draw, dramatise some memories of the year. You may want to write a letter, poem, rap, diary entry, cartoon strip or storyboard about what you have enjoyed about being at home, what you miss about school, etc. This can be in any format! You might want to include what you liked best about Year 2, what you are looking forward to in Year 3, your best ‘lockdown’ memory, a new skill / talent you have learned or anything also you can think of.
Family Sports Day - to be done at any pint this week
As a family, design and participate in your own Sports Day. You could have an obstacle course, beanbag (potato) race, running, skipping, sack race, egg and spoon (!), three-legged race or invent some of your own. You may want to design your own medals / certificates for winners and taking part. Please send in photos / video for me and Mrs. Beers to watch!
